Brocade Enhances Alliance Partner Network Program to Deliver More Value to the Channel
Wide Range of New Program Elements Demonstrates Continued Commitment to Brocade Partner Profitability and Success
DUBAI, UAE, May 11, 2010 /Networking PR News/ -- As part of its ongoing commitment to help channel partners maximize sales opportunities, Brocade (Nasdaq: BRCD) today announced a series of new programmes for channel partners targeting major verticals, such as the healthcare, higher education, public sector and financial markets. Delivering targeted marketing campaigns and attractive pricing plans, Brocade is arming its channel with the tools needed to help key vertical customers optimize their network infrastructures and drive business efficiencies.
Indicating the opportunity facing the channel partners, the Western European healthcare sector will drive IT investments that are set to grow from $12 billion in 2009 to $14.4 billion in 2012, according to IDC*. In order to help partners leverage these opportunities, Brocade's new vertical initiative will provide end-to-end marketing communications campaigns, special discounts and extended support from its expanded channel sales teams.
To assist partners with selling into certain vertical areas, Brocade has started the roll-out of targeted campaigns and sales programs that identify and address customer needs within specific markets. The incentive programme is open to all partner levels within the Alliance Partner Network (APN) - from Elite to Select - and include an incremental deal registration program that provides deal protection for projects that partners bring in, as well as a full portfolio of marketing materials that partners can customize and leverage to their advantage.
"Customers have bespoke purchasing criteria and this is particularly evident within vertical markets," said Amanda Giddins, EMEA Channel Director at Brocade. "To succeed, partners need to differentiate themselves from the competition and offer a tailored solution to the customer. As part of the company's open ecosystem approach, Brocade is committed to providing partners with the tools required to sell Brocade networking products. These tools include low-cost to no-cost training, comprehensive marketing materials and flexible use of Marketing Development Funds (MDF). In addition, to facilitate the qualification and dissemination of qualified leads, the APN Program utilizes a sophisticated identification system to generate highly targeted leads to help partners increase sales and drive revenues.
This initiative is one element of Brocade's global Alliance Partner Network (APN) programme. The channel programme consists of four distinct partnership levels: Distributor, Elite, Premier, and Select. All levels have been designed with specific requirements and benefits to help partners leverage and be rewarded for their networking product knowledge and solution support expertise. As part of this partner-enablement strategy, Brocade provides partners deal registration to help ensure project and investment protection. In addition, Brocade has extensively expanded its dedicated sales, marketing, and technical support model to support these high-quality partnerships.
